We are currently seeking a Distribution Supervisor (Evening Shift) for our Winnipeg Distribution Centre located at 230 Panet Road. As a Distribution Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising and training the distribution team members to meet the company’s strategic, competitive, and internal needs while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

Previous management experience in a distribution-oriented environment.
Effective decision making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to build high-performing work teams.
Direct and motivate subordinates in a dynamic work environment.
Customer-focused.
Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in the daily warehouse operations.
Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the assigned distribution team members.
Observe the health and safety regulations while maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring the equipment is serviced when needed, and the workspace is always kept clean and tidy.
Manage and facilitate the inbound/outbound operations of the Distribution Centre and other off-site storage facilities when required.
