The Distribution Specialist 2 Team Lead is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. Responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Daily team workload management, completing physical inventories, cycle counts, cycle count approvals, disposals, and training. This position reports to the Inventory Manager and is part of the Shipping/Receiving and distribution team located in Logan Utah and will be an on-site role. In this role you will be required to do: Core responsibilities will include overseeing cycle counting of inventory and inventory analysis. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the department. Support and back up applicable Inventory Manager tasks as needed. Maintaining accurate inventory in all designated locations. Promote the importance of inventory accuracy and aid all other co-workers in all inventory movements. Daily cycle counting of assigned inventory. Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update Oracle system accordingly

Requirements

• Have ability to communicate well with others
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of management with ability to train others
• Cycle count team experience
• Capable of being on feet for duration of shift
• Have ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, capable of working in extreme cold conditions (-20C/-4 F) on a regular basis
• Have ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Excellent organizational skills, effective written and verbal skills, computer skills, detail oriented, work well with others, good with numbers
• Positive attitude, work well under pressure and work with little or no supervision
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in use of MS Excel and MS Word/basic computer skills
• Inventory Analysis in oracle
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified
