About The Position
We are seeking a hands-on Distribution & Production Manager to lead warehouse and fabrication operations across multiple locations. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring on-time delivery, and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced industrial environment. You’ll play a key role in optimizing workflows, improving processes, and delivering strong business results while maintaining a safe and collaborative workplace.
Requirements
- 5+ years of management experience in a fabrication or distribution environment
- 7–10 years of experience in warehouse or production operations
- Strong leadership experience with a focus on coaching and team development
- Proven success in process improvement and change management
- Experience managing KPIs, production timelines, and operational metrics
- Familiarity with freight forwarding and shipping processes (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.)
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems and business reporting tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business (or equivalent experience)
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High level of organization and ability to prioritize
- Effective communication across all levels of the organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Regular computer use
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across warehouse distribution and fabrication
- Oversee inventory management, production scheduling, and work order execution
- Supervise, train, and develop production and warehouse teams
- Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations and workflows
- Monitor KPIs and ensure operational goals and on-time delivery targets are met
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Analyze operational data and provide recommendations for improvement
