About The Position
Island Way, a rapidly growing maker of Non-GMO sorbets in natural fruit shells, is seeking a Distribution Planner to manage its North American supply chain operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient product flow and supporting process optimization in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Requirements
- 3+ years in supply chain with increasing levels of responsibility
- 2+ years in logistics and distribution management
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate status updates through data
- CPG supply chain experience
- ERP familiarity (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor and track shipment schedules and freight volume to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage exceptions and serve as the escalation point for 3PL and outbound issues
- Audit freight invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with budgets
- Analyze supply chain performance data to identify and act on areas for improvement
