About The Position

TJX Companies is offering Operations Internships as part of its Global Distribution and Fulfillment Networks. This 12-week summer internship program is based in various warehouse locations across the country, including San Antonio, TX. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a worldwide logistics operation, learning how retail operations and logistics networks collaborate to ensure business efficiency. The role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, focusing on efficiency and safety, and participating in professional development, networking, and volunteer events. Interns will also work on a process improvement project and present their findings to Distribution executive team members. This internship provides an opportunity to learn leadership skills, collaborate with different functions, shadow operations leaders, understand the off-price business model, and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

Candidates with a genuine interest in a long-term career within our worldwide logistics operation.
Rising Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program or students enrolled in 2-year degree program.
Available for the full duration of the summer internship program.
Strong analytical thinkers with sophisticated problem-solving skills.
Proven leadership experience, team collaboration and strong communication skills.
The confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop diverse teams.
Actively collaborate with various functions within the Distribution or Fulfillment Center.
Learn from and shadow TJX operations leaders.
Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of the off-price business model.
Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Play an active role in the daily operations of a Fortune 100 company by leading a team of warehouse associates while keeping efficiency and safety top of mind.
