About The Position

Keeps production supplied by retrieving materials and supplies and operating a forklift. Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedules and scheduling deliveries to the production area. Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications, locating and verifying items, securing pallets on a truck, and moving pallets to production locations. Maintains inventory in the production area by anticipating and tracking usage and reporting discrepancies. Clears the production area by securing and moving finished pallets and moving empty pallets. Documents movement of supplies, materials, and finished goods. Maintains a safe work environment by watching for foot traffic, following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations. Keeps the forklift operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs. Updates job knowledge through educational opportunities and completes related tasks as needed to support warehousing and organization.

Responsibilities
