About The Position

The Distribution Forklift Operator works onsite five days a week in Grapevine, Texas. This role operates forklifts and other warehouse equipment to retrieve, store, replenish, and transport inventory, while supporting receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations. The operator uses handheld scanners and inventory systems to locate and track products, maintains accurate storage locations, and helps meet customer and store delivery timelines. The role works under general supervision, supports multiple warehouse departments as needed, and contributes to daily productivity, quality, and safety goals.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and present state-required proof of age documents.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of work experience in a distribution center environment required.
• At least one year of experience as a GameStop Order Fulfillment Associate required for internal candidates only.
• Must be able to lift and/or move boxes, totes, and other objects weighing up to 10 pounds from a height of up to 6 feet.
• Must be able to push boxes along a mechanically assisted conveyor weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and/or lift items for up to 8 hours daily.
• Ability to effectively meet production goals with tight timelines and high-quality standards.
• Working knowledge of common business computer systems and applications, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel on a Windows-based operating platform.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken and written English.
• Working knowledge of basic mathematical functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Learning capacity and agility to participate in cross-functional training as needed to maximize development and department results.
• Ability to work cooperatively in other distribution center and refurbishment center areas as needed to achieve overall department objectives.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and control job responsibilities to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to understand and comply with GameStop policies and procedures, including those related to attendance, safety, conflict of interest, confidentiality, honesty, and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to safely retrieve and put away inventory in warehouse storage locations.
• Replenish pick locations with product from back stock to support order fulfillment operations.
• Support receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely customer and store deliveries.
• Use handheld scanners and inventory systems to locate, track, and move products accurately.
• Transport inventory throughout the distribution center using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring products are stored and replenished in correct locations.
• Assist with unloading, stocking, and organizing incoming inventory.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Promptly communicate inventory, equipment, safety, or process issues to management.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Work under general supervision while demonstrating accountability and attention to detail.
• Support multiple warehouse departments as business needs require.
