About The Position

This position is responsible for loading and unloading supply trucks, tracking and storing material inventories, and rotating throughout the day to the box line as needed. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. The pay is $19.10/hr plus a $2.50/hr attendance bonus. The 2nd shift receives a $2 shift differential. Hours are Monday – Friday, with occasional weekend work. 1st Shift is from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm or upon completion of assigned work. 2nd Shift is from 4:30 pm – 1:00 am or upon completion of assigned work.

Requirements

• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to carry out essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, within safety guidelines
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
• Able to lift continuously up to 50 lbs stacking pallets
• Must have six months of forklift experience documented in the application.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to read labels, order summaries and communicate via radio.
• Continuously working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 40° F)
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months’ production experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Unload, stack, and/or store and track inventories of supplies
• Empty trash from box room daily
• Load cardboard recycling truck with boxes and combos
• Able to operate and obtain a forklift license
• Stack Boxes on pallets by product code
• Keeping the area clean
• All other duties assigned by leader
