About The Position

McMenamins Anderson School is hiring for a Distribution Driver. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington serving handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside pub fare. Locations range from neighborhood pubs to historic hotels, emphasizing community, art, history, music, food, drink, and fun. This role involves handling all tasks associated with the delivery of beer, wine, spirits, coffee, and other McMenamin products and equipment. Duties include transporting full and empty kegs and cases between pub locations and breweries/wineries, and transporting various materials and equipment. Drivers must maintain a clean driving record, work unsupervised, organize and schedule deliveries with minimal disruption to operations, keep organized records, and forecast distribution needs. They are also responsible for keeping delivery trucks clean and well-maintained. This role is physically demanding and requires mental agility, multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle all tasks associated with the delivery of beer, wine, spirits, coffee and other McMenamin products and equipment.
• Transport and move full and empty beer kegs between various pub locations and breweries.
• Transport and move full and empty wine kegs and cases between various pub locations and the winery.
• Transport various materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Work largely unsupervised.
• Organize and schedule deliveries with little or no interference with pub and brewery operations.
• Keep clear and organized records.
• Forecast distribution needs.
• Keep the delivery trucks clean and well maintained.
