About The Position
Miller-Keystone Blood Center (MKBC) is seeking a part-time Distribution Courier in Bethlehem, PA, to support the MKBC Bethlehem location. This role involves vehicle operations and the transportation of blood products to hospital partners, contributing to the mission of saving lives by providing essential blood products to hospitals in PA and NJ. The position offers an hourly wage starting at $15/hr, commensurate with experience, and includes benefits such as dental and vision insurance, PTO, discount tickets and plans, and an Employee Assistance Program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6 months experience delivery or as a prior courier preferred
- Experience in Outlook (preferred)
- The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) and customer service skills
- Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, flexibility, and reliability
- A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities
- A valid driving license and clear driving record
