About The Position
As a Distribution Coordinator at MKS Inc., you will partner with internal and external customers to provide world class distribution center centric support. In this role, you will report to the [Insert Reporting Manager’s Title].
Requirements
- Experience in shipping, receiving and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills
- 1+ years of related experience
- Ability to do shift work when directed.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
- Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods received, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
- Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.
- Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
- Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.
