About The Position

As our Sample Distribution Coordinator, you’ll make sure our architectural samples are built, packaged, organized, and delivered to customers and our sales team. This is NOT a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day kind of job. You’ll be cutting block, building sample kits, operating equipment, preparing shipments, managing inventory, and helping out wherever the team needs you.

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in masonry, construction, or building materials preferred.
Forklift experience/certification — or the ability to become certified.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
The ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
Basic Microsoft Office experience.
A “see what needs to be done and do it” attitude.
Flexibility to work overtime during busy seasons.

Responsibilities

Assemble architectural block and WorkRite sample kits for our sales team.
Cut masonry block, prepare face shells, and create sample pieces.
Clean, label, package, and prepare samples with an eye for detail.
Pack up and ship samples and plant materials via UPS.
Track outgoing samples and maintain accurate inventory records.
Communicate with customers to make sure shipments are accurate and meet expectations.
Operate forklifts and wheel loaders as needed. Training and certification will be required.
Assist the Quality Control team at the plant or out in the field at customer job sites.
Take on other duties and projects as needed to keep things moving.
