About The Position

HDR is hiring a Distribution Coordinator/EIT to support power distribution engineering projects. The role involves conducting analyses to develop power-related design options or recommendations and assisting with project deliverables such as engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, and project specifications. The coordinator performs routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures, completes projects with clear objectives and limited variables, and may work independently on small projects or assist more-senior engineers and professionals on larger projects. The role includes field work, analysis, calculations, and design for overhead and underground system improvement projects, as well as preparing deliverables for clients to support land acquisition, permitting, and construction. Work may be supported by Project Engineers, other EITs, Designers, or BIM Specialists. Candidates without an EIT certificate will be placed in a Design Coordinator job code and are expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without an EIT will be placed in a Design Coordinator job code and expected to obtain the EIT for career progression.
