About The Position

As the First Shift Distribution Coordinator, you will help lead our distribution team and perform various warehouse duties. In this role, you will report to the Distribution Center Supervisor. You will make an impact by performing the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. You will unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items where necessary. You will lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. You will prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped, post weights and shipping charges, and prepare goods for final shipment. You will examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. You may prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers.

Requirements

  • Requires experience in shipping, receiving and stores, and reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
  • 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Completes tasks in creative and effective ways.
  • Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
  • May provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.
  • Must be able to lift 20-40lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Oracle/ERP experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred

Benefits

  • Hourly Pay Range: $22 - 24 per hour.
