Provide customer service, inventory support and intervention on behalf of Distribution Clients; act as liaison between all S&S support areas and management in the Client’s Operations Group; responsible for inventory, order support and throughout order fulfillment. The Distribution Client Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day management of our Client inventory and order fulfillment. Liaison with Client operations team to ensure the following meet S&S standards: Titles are properly set up, Promotions or Special billing are communicated to the appropriate areas, and Order fulfillment. Monitor appropriate reports & interact with clients to stay aware of upcoming release schedules, hot titles & reprints. Communicate these current priorities to the DC personnel. Monitor Bindery shipping schedules & warehouse receiving schedules. Communicate & follow up on inbound noncompliance variances as outlined in our Vendor Guidelines; to ensure that corrective actions are approved and addressed or waived so that subsequent outbound shipping schedules are met. Change title availability as determined by the Clients. Enter & Manage inventory reservations. Assist Inventory Control & Warehouse on Inventory issues. Cycle Counts, Spot Checks and Product Defect Audits. Track Stock Transfer orders; provide follow up on order status. Establish/Execute processes to support non S&S sold transactions i.e. export, consignment, stock transfers, replenishment, consumer orders. Prepare /Distribute reporting on order fulfillment, suspense, open orders, other adhoc reporting. Provide CFS on behalf of the client with claims/credits/billings when needed. Coordinate the release of NYP titles for clients. (3PL) Review daily receiving report to update backorder statuses. Assist with resolving problems related to releases, inventory issues and bindery discrepancies. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
