About The Position

Distribution Clerk is responsible for the internal movement of goods. After products are processed by the Receiving Department, you will verify documentation, categorize items, and ensure they reach the correct stockrooms. This role also includes occasional local delivery driving to transport goods to off-site locations or partners.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks)

Responsibilities

• Accept incoming products from the Receiving Department.
• Carefully review packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure the physical count matches the documentation.
• Identify the correct destination for all items based on SKU, product type, or department.
• Move goods to the designated stockrooms or staging areas efficiently.
• Update logbooks to reflect the movement of goods, ensuring 100% accuracy in tracking.
• Operate company vehicles to perform local deliveries or transfers between facilities.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
