About The Position

The Transicold Refrigeration Container team seeks an experienced professional in Aftermarket Sales and Distribution Channel Management. This role involves participating in distribution channel management and customer relationship management to support aftermarket parts sales growth. The candidate will build strong business relationships, enhance distribution channel performance, drive parts revenue, and improve customer satisfaction. Collaboration with the aftermarket team and key accounts is essential to identify sales opportunities, optimize parts availability, and support pricing and inventory strategies. Candidates should reside near a major airport for travel convenience, and international travel is required. The location for this position will be determined and chosen based on the selected candidate. We are open for candidates from within the entire North, Central, and South America. Relocation and/or visa sponsorship is not applicable for this function.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in the refrigerated container/shipping/refrigeration industry
  • 5+ years of experience building customer relationships and/or channel management.
  • Must be able to travel 50-60% of time Domestically and Internationally
  • English or Spanish as a primary language, with the ability to communicate effectively in English in a business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the assigned territory and accounts through the rental and sales of portable HVAC solutions.
  • Proactively identifies prospective for distribution and channel management teams and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs.
  • Conducts business development activities for distribution and channel management teams within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.
  • Identifies bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers.
  • Develops new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.
  • Proactively supports and develops prospective projects with assigned customers and presents to sales business development team.
  • Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Attends trade shows, presents new products to increase the visibility of the organization.
  • Prepares workshops for assigned customers
  • Analyze market trends as well as specific customer specific trends - make marketing/sales adjustment bases on these trends
  • Supports regional telematics sales growth by identifying customer opportunities, promoting connected solutions, and collaborating with BluEdge partners to expand market adoption.
  • Manage the sale of finished goods through non-traditional aftermarket channels by identifying new market opportunities, developing channel strategies, and collaborating with partners to drive growth.
