Requirements

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid security license
Strong report writing skills
Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
Strong proficiency with technology
Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

Conduct regular interior and exterior checkpoint patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Monitor and control all gate access, ensuring only authorized vehicles and personnel enter the site.
Verify incoming trailers and vehicles, ensuring they are directed to the correct dock, address, or designated area.
Monitor alarm systems and respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activities.
Complete accurate daily and weekly security reports, including incident documentation and observations.
Perform continuous CCTV and camera surveillance, reporting any unusual or unauthorized activity.
Manage and secure emergency exit gates to ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.
Issue, monitor, and maintain access cards while tracking lost, damaged, or unauthorized card usage.
Verify staff and contractor clearances, control site access, and maintain detailed access records.
Conduct environmental and safety checks, including monitoring for water leaks, unusual airflow, abnormal noises, safety hazards, and tracking warehouse entry/exit activity, hi-vis vest compliance, and incident reporting.
