The team member receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products within the distribution center. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current and valid Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience
  • No more than 3 moving traffic violations in the past 36 months.

  • Meet physical demands: Regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Frequently required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all warehouse duties to ensure the efficient, effective, and safe movement of material to, from, and within the distribution center.
  • Pull store inventory, stock transfers, special orders, and will call.
  • Manage customer delivery, pickup, and truck schedules.
  • Manage and execute third-party shipping (UPS, LTL, Direct Link).
  • Process E-Commerce sales and shipments.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
  • File requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Load trucks.
  • Assist in unloading all materials into the receiving department and ensure materials are staged for counting and inspection.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Oversee the receiving process in the ERP system, ensure receiving reports accurately report material received, and resolve discrepancies regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
  • Check in UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments.
  • Unload trucks.
  • Assist in counting physical inventory.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence (e.g., size, type, style, color, product code).
  • Identify transfer discrepancies and make inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Mark materials with identifying information according to appropriate procedure.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace to support efficient operations.
  • Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
  • Maintain Forklift.
