About The Position

Menards Distribution Center is hiring for Warehouse Associates (Forklift Operator/Material Handler) who are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting products into and out of our Distribution Center. This role is available for both FULL TIME and PART TIME positions across multiple shifts: 1st shift (6:30AM until 3PM), 2nd shift (3PM until 11:30PM), and 3rd shift (11:45PM-7:15AM).

Requirements

• Safely operate forklift or other machinery
• Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
• Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
• Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
• Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system
• Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
• Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle

Responsibilities

• Follow Menards safety policies and procedures

• Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics
• Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
• Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
• Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
• Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
• Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
• Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system
• Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
• Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle
• Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management
