The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor provides leadership and direction to a team of 25+ colleagues within a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing workflow, and driving team performance. This role ensures operational targets are met while fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement. The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor plays a key role in supporting operational strategy, developing talent, and enhancing efficiency across the distribution center. Availability to work 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:30 PM-1:00 AM with flexibility and/or weekends. Hours subject to change based on business needs.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of work experience in a Warehouse or Distribution Center
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a leadership role and managing a team
Experience with continuous improvement methodology
Verifiable High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills

Working knowledge of collaboration and teamwork

Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.
Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.
Manages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.
Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations.
Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section.
Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics.
Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success.
Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.
