About The Position

This role is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all rolling stock, machinery, equipment, and the interior and exterior of the facility. The candidate must be able to assess equipment, recommend actions, and interact professionally. They will maintain and repair powered material handling equipment, pick carousels, conveyors, and other automation equipment, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Prior experience performing repairs and preventative maintenance on powered industrial equipment such as material handling equipment and automation systems such as conveyance and sortation systems, PLCs, and other related equipment.
• Ability to assess equipment and recommend an appropriate course of action.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with an emphasis on the Company’s interests.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repair and maintenance duties to the interior and exterior building structure including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, framing, roofing, painting, and other general construction.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance of rolling stock and equipment as required.
• Ability to observe and promote established safety procedures.
• Ability to prioritize maintenance of red tagged equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot escalated technical problems and complex mechanical issues including repairing material handling equipment such as forklifts and warehouse equipment such as picking carousels, conveyors, shrink-wrap machines and inventory racks.
• Perform repair and maintenance duties to the interior and exterior building structure including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, framing, roofing, painting, and other general construction.
• Perform preventive maintenance of rolling stock and equipment as required.
• Observe and promote established safety procedures.
• Prioritizes maintenance of red tagged equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories as required.
• May perform other projects and tasks as assigned.
