About The Position

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Warehouse General to join our team at our Phoenix Distribution Center. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 pm). As a Warehouse General you will be responsible for providing excellent service within ARS Warehouse ensuring work is completed in a timely manner meeting the ARS Workflow to the best of your ability while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.

Requirements

A minimum of 1-2 years warehouse experience in a high-volume HVAC Wholesale environment is preferred
A High School Diploma is preferred
Employee must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
Clean Motor Vehicle/Driving Record
Must be able to communicate well with others.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
Basic typing/10-key skills.
Must be a minimum of 20 years old

Responsibilities

Stock HVAC parts in warehouse; ensuring all items are in correct bin location
Follow supervisors’ directions to ensure following accurate stocking/product put away
Report any inventory discrepancies to Manager
Quality control on all items going out on orders: Inspection of all outgoing inventory ensuring accuracy by checking against pick list
Ensure warehouse is in proper order by completing housekeeping tasks (clean, debris picked up, etc.) before the end of each shift
Clean and tidy workstation
Safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (after training)
Follow the PWM’s (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouse
Ensure all Safety Procedures followed
Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Other duties as assigned by Manager
