About The Position

OmniCable, LLC (OmniCable), a leading North American redistributor of wire and cable, is seeking a Distribution Center Associate / Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations and order fulfillment. This role is responsible for operating production and material handling equipment to ensure accurate, timely delivery of customer orders and overall distribution center efficiency. In this role, you will directly contribute to the success of distribution center operations by ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your work supports customer satisfaction, operational throughput, and overall supply chain performance.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Dependable team player with strong communication skills
Ability to meet physical demands of the role (standing, lifting, bending)
Willingness to complete pre-employment background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience
Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, order pickers) to pull, put away, and move inventory throughout the warehouse
Receive inbound shipments, inspect for accuracy and quality, and process inventory into the system
Prepare and verify outbound shipments, ensuring accurate packing and delivery method selection
Operate wire processing and value-add machinery (e.g., re-spoolers, striping and cutting equipment) to fulfill orders
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with 5S and safety standards
