About The Position
Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY (MOW) is a leading senior service provider in Greater Cincinnati. Our mission is to deliver essential services that promote the independence of seniors so they may remain in the comfort of their own homes. We are an official member of Meals on Wheels America, and our regional organization is one of the largest in the country. Every year, we reach nearly 10,000 seniors throughout 13 counties with our services. The Meals on Wheels Distribution Center Associate is a full-time, Monday - Friday days only (beginning at 6 am) position in which the Associate will work in our distribution area to package the food for delivery to our Senior clients.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess basic mathematical skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, to include THC/marijuana, and background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical.
Responsibilities
- Package food orders for delivery.
- Complete an accurate daily log of product temperatures in multiple walk-in freezers and coolers.
- Maintain the Fulfillment and Distribution Center in a safe and compliant manner.
- Work with the Department Lead/Assistant Manager in coordination of meals ordering as needed.
