About The Position

The Distribution Center Associate III supports FleetPride branches and customers by expediting parts for delivery. The role involves fulfilling and organizing orders, handling and stocking inventory, recording product data, maintaining the warehouse and equipment, and reporting damaged or defective stock. This is a 1st shift opportunity.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, shipment auditing, inventory control, and stock replenishment.
• Forklift and reach truck experience.
• Ability to lift or carry parts over 60 pounds up to 15% of the time; most lifting and carrying involves parts weighing between 5 and 60 pounds.
• OSHA-approved steel-toed safety shoes are required from the first day on the job.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize branch and customer orders for delivery from the warehouse by part number and quantity, following picking-ticket priorities.
• Manually load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
• Stock and maintain inventory in designated warehouse storage areas.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage to supervisors.
