About The Position

Ridley Feed Ingredients®, an Alltech® company, is seeking qualified candidates for a Distribution Center Administrator at our distribution center in Mendota, IL. Hours for this nonexempt position are 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. The Distribution Center Administrator will provide administrative support in the Mendota Distribution Center. This role will make a difference by being the front line of improving the health and performance of people, animals, and plants through nutrition and scientific innovation, manufacture, and distribution of top-quality feed and supplements. Making a positive impact on the animal, the consumer and the environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3 years’ experience in an administrative position
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Solid computer and math skills

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support in assigned areas including, but not limited to the following: location accounts payable, logistics, inventory, and document filing as needed
Coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments as needed
Assist the daily flow of shipments and distribution activities
Maintain good in-person relationships with customers, vendors, and freight carriers (and drivers) that may visit or call into the warehouse directly
Serve as support to the Customer Service Team, assisting with customer orders, status updates and delivery information
Provide general office support as requested for safety, quality assurance, shipment documentation, inventory, and reporting
Review completed pick lists and product receipts and scan them to the main office
Maintain and update the customer complaint and non-conformance databases
