About The Position

The Distribution Associate is responsible for safely recovering used batteries and performing warehouse tasks related to shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance. The role involves using material-handling equipment to move freight to and from trucks and throughout the warehouse, and recording that processes and procedures are completed safely. Safe forklift operation and material-handling practices are significant aspects of the position. The associate provides customer service, performs inventory counts, and loads and unloads vehicles.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• One year of forklift experience.
• Physical strength to lift batteries.
• Safe forklift driving and material-handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely recover used batteries.
• Perform warehouse tasks related to shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance.
• Use material-handling equipment to move freight to and from trucks and throughout the warehouse.
• Record processes and procedures to document that functions are carried out safely.
• Provide a high-quality customer service experience.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and complete counts.
