About The Position

UBIF is seeking a Distribution Associate to join their team. This role involves receiving and processing returns, communicating with stores regarding shipments, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and optimizing space utilization. The associate will follow quality service standards, comply with procedures, and become cross-trained in all areas of the distribution center to fill in where needed. Continuous improvement of efficiency in the distribution fulfillment process is expected. The role also includes packaging, tracking, and shipping devices, promoting company Core Values, and collaborating effectively across departments. Maintaining satisfactory quality performance and a clean work area are essential. The position requires the ability to stand or sit based on business needs and perform other duties assigned by leadership. Responsibilities also include verifying and transferring inventory parts, using various tools to create inspection orders, and monitoring shipment levels to ensure a continuous flow of work.

Requirements

Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply problem solving techniques in day to day activities.
High energy level, detail oriented, exhibit a sense of urgency and initiative to perform in a fast paced environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to work with a well diverse teams.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to multi-task within a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Receiving and processing of Return Merchandise Authorizations and Buybacks.
Communicate directly with individual stores in regards to shipments.
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
Follow quality service standards.
Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Become cross-trained in all areas of the distribution center and be able to fill-in where needed.
Continuously work to improve efficiency with the distribution fulfillment process.
Package, track, and ship devices.
Promote the company's Core Values and adherence to those values.
Collaborate pro-actively and successfully across departmental boundaries.
Maintain satisfactory quality performance levels.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Based on business needs to be able to stand or sit.
Any other duties assigned by Leadership based on business needs/customer risk.
Verify the accuracy of and timely transfer inventory parts into and out of Receiving Inspection locations.
Using various tools to create inspection orders as needed to fulfill daily shipment needs.
Monitor shipment levels and work with management to ensure a continuous flow of work to the floor.
