About The Position

The Distribution Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within the supply chain. This position is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to meet customer demands and maintain inventory accuracy. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Organizational and detail-oriented skills daily to ensure accurate inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Physical stamina and safe equipment operation skills are essential for handling and moving products efficiently within the warehouse.
• Communication skills facilitate effective coordination with team members and external partners to maintain smooth distribution processes.
• Familiarity with inventory software and barcode scanning technology supports accurate data entry and real-time tracking of goods.
• Problem-solving abilities help identify and implement improvements in workflow and safety, contributing to overall operational excellence.

• Previous experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery with valid certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations to ensure easy retrieval and inventory accuracy.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry into inventory management systems.
• Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule and track outbound shipments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to prevent accidents and product damage.
• Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance distribution efficiency and reduce errors.
