About The Position

A Distribution Associate is an employee responsible for fulfilling orders and arranging outgoing packed orders for delivery. Their duties include interpreting sales orders and pulling the correct product, performing quality control assessments and stacking items safely and securely in the right packaging. Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
Strong reading and communication skills
Must be over 21 years of age
Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities

Responsibilities

Interpreting sales orders and pulling the correct product
Performing quality control assessments
Stacking items safely and securely in the right packaging
Following company picking/packing procedures
Efficiently pulling product(s) based on daily orders
Ensuring order pick/count accuracy
Meeting specifics set forth by supervisor(s) for all orders promptly
Reporting out any discrepancies or adjustments needed by the supervisor
Handling inventory with care and attention to detail
Following good manufacturing practices and required work safety practices
Operating various pieces of equipment ie. Pallet Jack, pallet wrapper
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
Performing work under direct supervision
Handling basic issues and problems and referring more complex issues to higher-level staff
Performing other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor
Undergoing cross-training in various roles within the department as required
