About The Position

The Warehouse Associate will work in any variety of warehousing functions. Positions may include functions within receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, returns, special projects, gift packaging, and inventory. The associate will safely, accurately, and efficiently pick, pack and process products, including products requiring additional service such as price ticket removal, reticketing, gift packaging, Customer Care single unit orders, and crimping. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in order fulfillment to process volume according to productivity, accuracy and team standards, ensure deadlines are met, and provide effective problem solving in their functional area (audit orders, issue cartons). They will utilize WM and other team specific programs to determine status and resolve cases within the department. The role also involves assisting with carton and corrugate prep and corrugate breakdown and disposal as needed, replenishing usable totes/bins, processing at the tote replenishment line, processing in the Problem Resolution area, and researching and processing shortages and No Read diverts. The associate will accurately break down and distribute tickets, sort/offload cartons to and from pallets and conveyor as needed, and assist in packing cartons with dunnage and sealing them. Communication with the Team Leader regarding any equipment or workstation issues is crucial, as is flexibility to assist in other departments as needed. Practice safe work habits, including communicating with co-workers and managers of all safety concerns, operating a hand pallet jack, and providing daily housekeeping assistance throughout the department. Other duties assigned by management will also be performed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow instructions consistently.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Ability to work overtime or flexible time as needed.
  • Ability to do frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for entire shift.
  • Ability to reach, walk, bend, lean, push, pull, manual dexterity, climb.
  • Ability to work at various heights.
