About The Position

Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. We have an opportunity for a Distribution Associate II to join our team supporting clinical trial projects through accurate picking and packing of clinical site and depot shipments. This role provides warehouse support to the Packaging, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality Assurance groups, ensuring all work follows regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices, and standard operating procedures. Although focused on Distribution, this position may also support other operational areas as needed to meet business demands. Shift: Sun to Thurs 12pm-8:30pm Location: Kansas City, MO 100% Onsite

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations and forklift use, with valid or prior certification for Powered Industrial Trucks.
  • Detail-oriented and well organized.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak clear English.
  • Work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Perform effectively under pressure to meet competing workplace demands.
  • Basic computer skills, including e-mail and Microsoft Word.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • This role also requires 20/30 corrected vision screening and a DEA background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior pharmaceutical or supply chain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety and handling guidelines to protect drugs, materials, and others.
  • Pick and verify orders for processing.
  • Perform final verification of processed orders.
  • Verify and label orders during pack-out.
  • Complete order processing, including FedEx management, material verification, Kool Chain pack-out, temperature monitor usage, and label verification.
  • Operate forklifts, order pickers, and related equipment safely, following OSHA guidelines.
  • Restock distribution supplies such as boxes, coolers, gel bricks, and phase changes.
  • Maintain and clean the workstation.
  • Work effectively with people from diverse cultures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
