About The Position

The Distribution Assistant Manager - Appliances is responsible for supporting daily activities within the appliance warehouse, including the processing of incoming and outgoing inventory. This role also serves as a point of contact for key departments such as sales, purchasing, and accounting. The company is a family-owned, 4th generation business in the luxury home amenities industry, emphasizing hands-on leadership, employee appreciation, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Texas DL required.
  • At least 3-5 years in logistics/warehouse environment required.
  • Able to accurately process returns, exchanges, submit RA on returns, shipping, receiving, inventory cycle counts, other general warehouse duties.
  • 1-2 years in a team lead or manager role required.
  • Able to direct delivery staff related to work orders, routes, and other internal activities.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service attitude.
  • Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiar with inventory management, Point of Sale or other logistics software.
  • Experience using pallet jacks, wheeled dollies, and other logistics equipment.
  • Ability to lift objects over 100 lbs (with assistance).
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes.
  • Strong work ethic and adherence to a regular schedule.
  • Availability to work any days (6:30am-6pm), except Sunday.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of residential appliances a plus.
