About The Position

Bath Fitter is seeking a Distribution & Logistics Team Lead to join our Tennessee Manufacturing Plant. In this role, you'll lead the daily operations of our shipping and stockroom teams, ensuring products move safely, accurately, and efficiently while supporting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys coaching teams, solving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or logistics
  • 5+ years of leadership experience preferred
  • Forklift operating experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience developing and documenting work instructions
  • Ability to motivate and coach employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • ERP experience; Navision is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shipping and stockroom operations while promoting a safe and productive work environment
  • Plan daily workloads and adjust staffing to meet changing production demands
  • Conduct daily team meetings using KPI dashboards and visual management tools
  • Monitor department performance, inventory accuracy, and production reporting
  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives utilizing Kaizen and PDCA methodologies
  • Develop, maintain, and train employees on standardized work instructions
  • Utilize and support employee training within the Navision ERP system
  • Coordinate inventory cycle counts and support annual physical inventory
  • Partner with Production, Materials, Customer Service, and leadership teams to resolve operational challenges
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team members while supporting performance evaluations
  • Recommend training and development opportunities for employees
  • Promote employee engagement and participation in company initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and company standards
  • Support additional operational responsibilities as needed.
