About The Position

The Distribution Account Manager is responsible for supporting the Times Microwave Systems distribution business through focused account management and strong distributor relationship development. Duties include sales support, opportunity generation, pricing and quoting coordination, reporting and data analytics, marketing activities, and program management. The role centers on executing established distribution strategies to strengthen channel performance and drive revenue growth.

Requirements

  • BS in Business, Marketing, and/or Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, distribution, sales support, business development, or a related role
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to proactively pursue and develop new business opportunities with strong initiative, persistence, and follow-through.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver clear and effective presentations.
  • Demonstrated analytical capability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and supporting distributor partners to drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop assigned distribution accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities as well as develop growth within existing distribution accounts and markets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and lead activity within the CRM system, ensuring opportunities are accurately tracked, qualified, advanced, and followed through to completion.
  • Provide timely support for general inquiries, quotations, leads and customer requests.
  • Develop account plans and monitor sales activity, forecasts, inventory, performance, and pipeline health to identify actions that increase sales.
  • Educate and enable distribution partners through product training, pricing and product list updates, sales tools, new product information, and regular account health scorecards.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Outside Sales, and other internal teams.
  • Participate in distributor meetings, joint sales calls, customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitive activity, distributor needs and requirements.
  • Travel up to 25% to customer sites as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
