About The Position

Peraton is hiring a Distributed Edge Architecture (DEA) Support Process Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland. As a Process Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a DEA Support Process Engineer on our team, you will document processes and establish relationships to implement the DEA tenets. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and validating architecture views, technical documents, and executive briefings. You will also be responsible for facilitating workshops and working groups to gather inputs and ensure stakeholder alignment with DEA milestones and objectives. You will lead the operational test and evaluation process to ensure end-to-end functions meet the required mission objectives and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited school or university and ten (10) years' experience with process improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • A High School Diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years of experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity would also be acceptable.
  • Experience is to include, within the past ten (10) years, five (5) years' experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
  • Experience with Distributed Edge Architecture.
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of demonstrated experience in the full product lifecycle: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
  • Five years of experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Familiarity with customer infrastructure.
  • Experience with customer software development environment to include data formats and data transformation methods.
  • Familiarity with customer field site architecture, collection products, and mission management tools.
  • Strong working relationship with military services and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with the military services.
  • Experience with the creation of graphics, briefs, and CONOPs for senior management.
  • Ability to work within a team setting to complete assigned tasks within an expected time schedule.
  • Flexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment that may require surge efforts.
