Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies with at least 15 years of power-related experience.
  • Technical management experience with team development leadership skills.
  • Ability to sell ideas and concepts with properly supported analysis and simulation to drive product and technology roadmaps.
  • Deep knowledge of power conversion topologies, power devices, magnetics, and control loop design.
  • Good understanding of semiconductor physics relationship to MOSFET and GaN parameters and figure of merits.
  • Oral and written English language proficiency is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MOSFET, Gate Drivers, and digital products preferred.
  • Good understanding of functional safety concepts and automotive system applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of System Architects and Product Definition Engineers, establishing processes and standardizing checklists to ensure thorough technical analysis and effective communication of team concept development efforts.
  • Engage with lead customers to understand system architecture challenges, establish application requirements, and define functional blocks or control systems used in new products.
  • Establish and lead prototype system concepts, including magnetic designs and thermal management, and validate electrical projections and physical stability.
  • Identify, evaluate, and lead technology innovation ideas needed to enable future products, including integrated circuit IP, MOSFET and GaN technologies, packaging, and software needs.
  • Engage with standardization authorities worldwide and universities in research efforts.
