About The Position

The Distinguished Engineer - Infrastructure Automation & AIOps, is responsible for defining and driving the enterprise strategy, architecture, and technical standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and AI-driven infrastructure management. This role serves as the organization’s foremost technical authority for infrastructure automation, establishing a modern engineering ecosystem that enables infrastructure to be provisioned, configured, secured, and governed entirely through code. The Distinguished Engineer will own the enterprise Terraform platform and its technical roadmap, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and reusable automation capabilities across cloud and on-premises environments. This includes establishing reusable modules, reference architectures, policy-as-code frameworks, automated validation pipelines, and engineering guardrails that promote consistency, compliance, security, and operational resilience. In parallel, this leader will establish a centralized, self-service AIOps capability that provides reusable frameworks, automation patterns, and intelligent operational tooling that can be consumed by teams across the enterprise. Working across engineering, cloud, security, and platform organizations, the Distinguished Engineer will drive the adoption of standardized automation practices, reduce manual infrastructure management, and deliver governed, scalable, and resilient infrastructure capabilities that accelerate technology delivery, improve infrastructure reliability, and enable enterprise-wide operational excellence.
