This is a full-time position for a 3rd Shift Distillery Operator working Monday through Thursday, from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The role involves mastering all production operations to an independent level, including receiving grain, milling, cooking, mashing, distilling, operating the boiler, transferring stillage, and filling barrels. Operators are responsible for following all protocols for equipment use, maintenance, and safety, and must report any issues to their supervisor. Collaboration and knowledge sharing with teammates are essential, as is accurate record-keeping for batch sheets and quality control. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and company regulations is also a key responsibility. The operator will work with automated and manual process controls, follow the production schedule, and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety protocols. Support for the barrel team may also be required. Other duties may be assigned by the Master Distiller.
