Responsibilities

Working as a collaborative team member to meet the service goals of the pharmacy
Create a welcoming environment by greeting all customers and providing quick and efficient service
Accurately enter patient information into the pharmacy database to assist with proper billing
Maintain a safe pharmacy environment by adhering to health code guidelines and corporate standards.
Know and follow all aspects of the Dispensing department manual
Know how to run all packaging machines
Thorough knowledge of all drug names, generic and trade name.
Ability to dispense blister packs, ud boxes, “odd” medications (liquids, inhalers, creams, eye drops, etc.)
Ability to process returns and breakdowns
Replenish back up boxes, if necessary
Process wholesaler orders
Restocking medications for dispensing.
