About The Position

Under minimal supervision, perform manufacturing tasks as assigned in the Manufacturing Department. This role requires consistent, dependable attendance and a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours. The operator must be capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. A High School Diploma is required, along with basic math proficiency and a minimum of one year of equivalent machine operation experience.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environment, familiar with manufacturing processes and equipment procedures preferred.
Experience with tablet presses or encapsulation machines preferred.
Working knowledge of Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations, preferred.
Working knowledge of cGMP's, a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate and clean manufacturing equipment.
Transport bulk raw material from staging area to compounding weight room.
Verify all bulk raw materials for accuracy and quantities received.
Weight individual raw materials as per the product formula and follow batching procedures.
Perform changeover and set-up of designated manufacturing equipment.
Practice Good Manufacturing procedure as trained in cGMP training.
Required to wear appropriate safety equipment and adhere to safety procedures and Federal and State regulations.
Assist manufacturing supervisor in the collection and summarization of in-line Q.C. data.
Follow procedures described in SOP’s (Q.C. and MFG.) and report deviations to the immediate supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP’s), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures.
