About The Position

Under minimal supervision, perform manufacturing tasks as assigned in the Manufacturing Department. This role requires consistent, dependable attendance and a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours. The operator must be capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. A High School Diploma is required, along with basic math proficiency and a minimum of one year of equivalent machine operation experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environment, familiar with manufacturing processes and equipment procedures preferred.
  • Experience with tablet presses or encapsulation machines preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP's, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and clean manufacturing equipment.
  • Transport bulk raw material from staging area to compounding weight room.
  • Verify all bulk raw materials for accuracy and quantities received.
  • Weight individual raw materials as per the product formula and follow batching procedures.
  • Perform changeover and set-up of designated manufacturing equipment.
  • Practice Good Manufacturing procedure as trained in cGMP training.
  • Required to wear appropriate safety equipment and adhere to safety procedures and Federal and State regulations.
  • Assist manufacturing supervisor in the collection and summarization of in-line Q.C. data.
  • Follow procedures described in SOP’s (Q.C. and MFG.) and report deviations to the immediate supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP’s), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures.
