About The Position

Everest Recovery Centers is seeking a Part-time Dispensing Nurse for their Manchester, ME facility. This role offers a change from typical nursing positions with no heavy lifting and limited direct physical contact with patients. The shifts are Monday & Tuesday 5am-1pm and Saturdays 5:30am-10:30am (as needed). Everest Recovery Centers focuses on improving lives and strengthening communities through substance use treatment, including medication-assisted treatment, diagnostic assessment, relapse prevention, support groups, addiction education, and counseling.

Requirements

Licensed LPN or RN in the State of ME.
Everest Recovery conducts pre-employment background screening/investigation as well as drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in Opioid Treatment field a plus.

Responsibilities

Medicate and assess patients.
Collect urine and blood specimens for laboratory testing.
Accurate and timely documentation.
Safe and accurate administration of medications as prescribed, including patient assessment.
Compliance with Everest Recovery policy and procedures, state and federal regulations.
Collection of urine specimens.
PPD administration as required by regulation.
Perform venipunctures as required by regulation (RN's only).
Provision of an ongoing health education class/groups for patients (RN's only).
Provision of accurate information regarding disease concept; TB, HIV, Hepatitis to patients as deemed necessary (RN's only).
