About The Position

At CULTA, we're passionate about the quality of the cannabis we grow and the experience we provide to our customers. We cultivate our products at our Cambridge, Maryland campus and serve customers at our dispensaries in Baltimore, Columbia, and Urbana. Our award-winning products are also available at dispensaries throughout Maryland. We're looking for a Dispensary Sales Lead to join our Baltimore team. In this role, you'll support daily store operations, guide and develop the sales team, deliver excellent customer service, and help ensure the dispensary operates in compliance with Maryland cannabis regulations and CULTA's procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing needs.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to compliance.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Proficiency in METRC.
  • Ability to work onsite in Baltimore.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to meet applicable background check and screening requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and support dispensary staff during daily operations.
  • Set the example for excellent customer service and help resolve customer concerns.
  • Coach team members on CULTA's products, consumption methods, and service standards.
  • Help conduct performance reviews and address performance concerns.
  • Support the implementation and consistent use of store policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay current on Maryland cannabis regulations and help the team follow all applicable requirements.
  • Maintain product knowledge, including products and strains available in Maryland.
  • Oversee inventory procedures, including opening and closing counts and audits as needed.
  • Support accurate cash handling and daily reconciliation.
  • Communicate effectively with store leadership and other CULTA teams.
