Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid pharmacist license in [insert state].
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while verifying physician orders and patient information.
  • Provide counseling to patients on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
  • Conduct medication therapy management and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies related to pharmacy practice.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining records of controlled substances.
  • Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new medications, and best practices in pharmaceutical care.
  • Train and mentor pharmacy staff and interns as needed.
