About The Position

We Care Daily Clinics (WCDC) is a modern facility providing treatment for addiction in a person-centered environment in Auburn, WA. WCDC aims to restore hope and purpose for individuals battling opioid use through a holistic, evidence-based approach. The facility prioritizes patient-centered care and operates as an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) using FDA-approved medication alongside behavioral health counseling. Individual service plans are personalized within a supportive, safe environment, and the clinic also offers patient transportation and family support. The Dispensary Nurse is responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of opioid agonist medications to members. This role involves direct member care, medication inventory management, and ensuring all practices comply with regulatory standards, clinic policies, and WCDC's mission.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Washington state nurse license (LPN or higher).
  • BLS certification (or the ability to complete within the first 3 months of hire).
  • Minimum of 1 year of member care experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups and handle conflicts diplomatically.
  • No history of alcohol or other drug misuse and no evidence of misuse while employed.
  • Must pass required background checks and drug tests.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) dispensary.
  • Knowledge of medication dosing and inventory management.
  • Experience in behavioral or mental health fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense appropriate medication doses and account for all medication inventory used during a shift.
  • Organize and monitor daily dispensary activities, ensuring seamless workflows and operational compliance.
  • Report medication inventory and supply needs to the Nurse Clinical Supervisor for timely reordering.
  • Administer and read tuberculosis tests for members and facilitate referrals for chest x-rays as needed.
  • Accurately record all nursing documentation in the electronic medical records system, following professional standards.
  • Provide direct nursing support and clinical care as assigned by the Float Pool Team Lead.
  • Ensure the security of medications, member records, and other documentation required by the DEA, DOH, and other licensing agencies.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Participate in audits and regulatory reviews to uphold WeCare’s operational standards.
  • Interact positively with all staff, supporting a collaborative and motivational work environment.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions, contributing to the team’s overall success and adherence to the treatment plan.
