Inventory Manager Our Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing and controlling the dispensary's inventory of cannabis products and related supplies. This includes overseeing the ordering, receiving, storing, and tracking of inventory to ensure accurate stock levels. Th is individual will also monitor product quality, expiration dates, and inventory turnover rates. Additionally, the I nventory M anager will be responsible for implementing inventory management systems, conducting regular audits, and developing strategies to optimize inventory control processes.

Requirements

For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
An Associate's degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience that demonstrates growth and/or advancement in complexity, difficulty, or level of responsibility.
A minimum of three (3) years of managerial experience.
A minimum of three (3) years of inventory management experience.
A minimum of two (2) years of METRC experience.
Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve, personal integrity, and business acumen.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee shift operations and supervise team members.
Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, transactions, and product information.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations to forecast inventory needs and plan accordingly.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
Audit inventory levels weekly and report needed products to operations according to ordering SOP.
Regularly performing METRC and POS audits and verify data for accuracy.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
Implement inventory management best practices to optimize inventory control.
Optimize storage space utilization and organization to maximize efficiency.
Ensure store compliance with company policies and procedures.
Effectively communicate inventory status, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ensure the store remains compliant with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge.
Provide education for employees about different cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption mechanisms.
Foster a culture of professionalism, guiding teams to achieve optimal results.
Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources Department and appropriate partners to implement and manage the company's policies and procedures.
Retain and develop top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback.
Addresses low performance quickly, compassionately, and in alignment with company policies.
