About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis journey by educating them about product benefits and potential side effects. Associates must be knowledgeable about a range of products and their effects, provide excellent service, and facilitate purchases in accordance with state regulations while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role is part-time, with up to 25 hours per week and flexible hours based on store needs. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required, and after-hours work may be needed according to business needs. The position pays $15.00 per hour and is also eligible for tips. Employees may be asked to perform additional team tasks as needed, including delivery associate and online support duties. Delivery duties require a valid driver's license and a clear driving record. Online support includes processing online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, and experience in the field or a similar field.
Must be at least 21 years old, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at different seniority levels.
Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism when communicating with all levels of management and staff.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to serve customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to move intermittently during the workday, see and hear or use prosthetics that enable these senses, function independently, and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies, including people who may be ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or hostile.
Constantly required to move throughout the facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information; observe details at varying ranges; and operate computing devices.
Frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, push or pull up to 50 pounds, lift/carry/position up to 50 pounds, climb stools, ladders, or steps, and crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Occasionally required to remain seated.
For delivery driver duties, must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

When needed, perform delivery associate duties, following company policies and procedures; a valid driver's license and clear driving record are required.
When needed, assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
