About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis purchasing journey by educating them about product benefits and potential side effects. Associates need sufficient product knowledge to discuss various products and their effects while providing excellent customer service. The primary function is to facilitate customer purchases in accordance with state regulations and provide an exceptional customer experience. This is a part-time retail position reporting to the General Manager. It pays $15.00 per hour and is also eligible for tips. The position works up to 25 hours per week, with flexible hours based on store needs and availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours work as business needs require. A comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is offered. Employees may be asked to perform additional team tasks as needed, including delivery-associate or online-support duties. Delivery duties require a valid driver's license and a clear driving record. Online-support duties may include processing online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, and experience in the field or a similar field.
At least 21 years of age, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at various seniority levels.
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and as part of a team.
Business sense and professionalism when communicating with all levels of management and staff.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to work with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check.
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and to see and hear, or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately.
Ability to function independently, demonstrate flexibility and personal integrity, and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people in the facility.
For delivery-driver duties, a valid driver's license and clear driving record.

When needed as a delivery associate, follow Trulieve policies and procedures for delivery work.
When needed as online support, process online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
