Now, we're growing - and looking for an Assistant General Manager who's excited to step into a leadership role in one of Michigan's fastest-moving industries. What You'll Do As the Assistant General Manager, you'll be the right hand to our General Manager - helping run the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced retail cannabis store. From managing team performance to making sure our customers leave smiling, your leadership will help us continue setting the standard for retail cannabis in Michigan. You'll: Lead and motivate an awesome team of budtenders and support staff. Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure your team does too. Help track and optimize store performance through daily sales metrics. Assist with cash handling, inventory management, and compliance processes. Be a go-to person for scheduling, training, and team development. Bring fresh energy and clear direction to a high-functioning retail environment. Keep things running smoothly with support from our Inventory, HR, and Compliance teams. What We're Looking For You're a natural leader, team player, and problem-solver. You're organized, confident, and thrive in a busy retail environment. You know how to keep things fun, professional, and on track.
Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience (bonus points for cannabis retail).
- 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and team-building skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems, Google Suite, and (ideally) METRC, FlowHub, or Dutchie.
- A passion for cannabis and a willingness to learn more about the plant and the industry.
- 21+ years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Comfortable being on your feet, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working weekends/evenings.
